Update for yesterday's Attempted Residential Burglary:  Felony charges were approved for attempted residential burglary for the subject apprehended yesterday.  The subject was identified as Jaime Navarro of Glendale Heights, IL.

Unlocked Vehicles Entered:
Three reports have been received since Tuesday of unlocked cars which were rummaged through.  All three occurred between Monday night into Tuesday morning.  The locations reported include:  500 block of Essex, 300 block of Glendenning and 100 block of Melrose.  Items reported stolen includen:  Lacrosse balls, mouthguards and field markers.

Unlocked doors will continue to
draw these offenders to your neighborhood, even if you have nothing to lose in your car.  Every time these offenders are on our streets there is a chance for a confrontation with an unsuspecting resident.  Please do your part by locking your doors!  We will continue to do our part to locate, arrest and disrupt their activities to the best of our ability.  Thank you for your support in this joint effort.
