No Parking During Snow Event

Sent: January 25, 2019

The Public Works Department appreciated the terrific cooperation which the Kenilworth community provided during our last snow fall.

This Sunday into Monday we are expecting another significant snow event.  In advance of the storm, we are asking for your help.  Please assist our emergency responders by not parking on the street between Sunday evening and Monday evening.  While our overnight parking prohibition (2:00 – 6:00a) remains in effect, voluntarily keeping cars off the street during the storm greatly helps improve our snow removal operations.  By keeping the streets clear of parked cars, our crews can clear the entire roadway more quickly and avoid delays caused by navigating around parked vehicles on narrow streets.  If you require someplace to park your vehicle overnight, make arrangements to use one of our commuter parking lots north and south of Kenilworth Ave. along Green Bay Rd. during the snow event.

Thank you in advance for your assistance.
