On November 6th, the Kenilworth Police Department requested the public’s assistance in locating Mark Anthony Davenport to confirm his well-being after his belongings were located at the water’s edge of Lake Michigan. The Police Department is pleased to report that he has been located and is safe. The Kenilworth Police Department expresses its gratitude to the public and area Public Safety Agencies in helping to locate Mr. Davenport. Officers will be working to return Mr. Davenport’s property in the coming days and ascertain why it was found on the public beach.
Assets from the United State's Coast Guard will be utilized today along the Kenilworth shoreline in order to conduct a search for Mark Davenport.
The Kenilworth Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in confirming the wellbeing of a Chicago area man (current residence unknown). On Tuesday morning, a person walking on the Kenilworth Public Beach reported finding a bicycle and backpack partially buried at the water’s edge of Lake Michigan. Upon checking the contents of the backpack, officers located the identification of Mark Anthony Davenport age 44. Acquaintances of Mr. Davenport report last speaking with him on Sunday, November 4th in the 2000 block of W. Logan Blvd. in Chicago. He has not been in contact with them since that time and gave no indication that he was travelling to Kenilworth. Anyone with information about Mr. Davenport is requested to call the Kenilworth Police Department.
