IRS Scam Claiming to be Kenilworth Police

This scam is currently active in the community. The Kenilworth Police phone number (847-251-2141) appears on caller ID with the caller fictitiously representing themselves as a Kenilworth Police Detective ("Detective Bailey"). The caller demands payment of owed taxes or the victim will be arrested by Kenilworth Police.

The callers are very convincing and usually have information about the person they are calling to aid in their efforts.
