Winter Storm Warning
The Weather service is predicting a winter storm to begin in our area at about 6:00 pm on Thursday, February 8th with heavy snow to continue into Friday evening. Please avoid non-emergency driving after midnight if possible as road conditions are expected to be hazardous.
 
Winter Storm Street Parking
Due to the forecasted winter storm, plowing operations are likely to commence during overnight hours tonight (February 8th) and continue through late evening hours on Friday, February 9th. Village crews are busy preparing equipment and have been assigned to rotating 12-hour shifts to combat the expected snow storm. We are asking for resident’s assistance to please keep the streets clear of any vehicles starting tonight at 7 PM through Friday evening. This will help the plow trucks to navigate the streets and get the snow cleaned up as quickly as possible. We thank residents for their cooperation in helping to keep the streets safe for everyone.
 
Village Sidewalk Snow Removal
It is reminded during this time, Public Works priority is given to the safe passage of vehicles on the roadways. Village sidewalks will be plowed once all roadways are clear. It is always appreciated when residents shovel their own sidewalk to help relieve staff.  
 
Village Hall Closed
Village Hall offices will be closed Friday, February 9th due to the pending winter storm to assist with keeping vehicles off roadways. Kenilworth Police will still be available during this time.

Refuse Collection
Due to the Storm Warning, Republic Services will not operate tomorrow (Friday, February 9). Friday collection service will be delayed to Saturday, February 10th.
