Information Regarding the North Shore Triathlon

North Shore Triathlon Road Closures Sunday September 17^th

The 5^th Annual North Shore Triathlon, hosted by Precision Multisport and the Wilmette Park District, will take place on Sunday, September 17^th, on the east side of Wilmette, Kenilworth and Winnetka.  It will start at approximately 6:00 AM and end at approximately 10:30 AM. Residences on the west side of Sheridan and the south side of Winnetka Avenue will have no vehicular access to their driveway during the event.  Residences on the east side of Sheridan will be limited to turning northbound only out of their driveway during the event.

Residences on the West and East Side of Sheridan Road should park needed vehicles on Saturday night legally, on streets west of Sheridan. 

Residences on Winnetka Avenue should park needed vehicles on Saturday night legally, on streets south or north of Winnetka Avenue and use the detour route to get around the closure area.  Essex north of Winnetka Avenue in Winnetka will be available to park vehicles as well as streets south of Winnetka Avenue in Kenilworth.

Sheridan Road Detour has been established at the intersection of Sheridan and Cherry in Winnetka and the intersection of Sheridan and Linden in Wilmette.  Traffic will be detoured to Green Bay in order to get past the closure area.
