May 21^st - 2017 Kenilworth Memorial Day Celebration
 
The Memorial Day holiday in the Village of Kenilworth will be observed this year on Sunday, May 21st.  In conjunction with the community’s activities, staff from the Kenilworth Police Department will host an open house at the Kenilworth Police Station.  The open house will begin at approximately 2:45 p.m. (following the Memorial Ceremony at Memorial Park) and will last until 4:45 p.m.  Activities for this fun and informative event include: Tour of Police Station, Firearm Demonstration, a visit by McGruff the Crime Dog, Refreshments, Information Tables and Vehicles on Display from Local Police Departments.  Make plans now to drop by the Police Station after the Memorial Day Ceremony.  Please remind children that the police open house will not begin until the Memorial Ceremony concludes out of respect for our veterans.

9:30 a.m. Check In for the Kenilworth Run 3K/5K at the train station
    
10:30 a.m. Kenilworth Run through the Village

1:00-4:00 p.m. Open House at the Kenilworth Historical Society; the Sears log cabin will also be open

1:45 p.m. Parade line-up Warwick between Woodstock & Kenilworth Ave.  

2:00 p.m. Memorial Day Parade-Retiring Officer Holger Bucks will be a Parade Grand Marshal along with Kenilworth residents John Hart and Joe Coughlin

2:20 p.m. Memorial Ceremony at Memorial Park  

3:00 p.m. Community picnic at the Kenilworth Assembly Hall:  sponsored by the Kenilworth Scouts

2:45-4:45 p.m. Kenilworth Police Department Open House
