Common controlled substances include: Actiq, Tequin, Daytrana, Zerit, Duragesic, Meperidine, Oxycontin, Reyataz, Avinza, Xyrem, Baraclude, Fentora and Percocet. Residents are asked to leave the drugs in their original packaging, identifying the contents, but may black out names that that are on the containers.

Prescription drugs that are more than a year old, as well as non-prescription medications with expiration dates that are more than 6 months old, should be disposed of.
