Kenilworth Beach Access

The Kenilworth Beach is currently closed due to damage caused this past winter and safety considerations in light of COVID-19. However, the Village has decided that hopefully soon, the beach can be safely opened for the 2020 beach season and still be in compliance with Phase 3 of the Executive Order. Just as restaurants, services and stores are opening with restrictions in place, so to will the Kenilworth Beach. There will be new procedures and limitations in place, in order to be in compliance but we are happy that the beach will be available to our residents despite these difficult times.

Providing Kenilworth residents with access to the beach this summer is a priority but there are many safety considerations to work through before that can be done. We will keep you posted on our progress as we work to ensure the Kenilworth Beach is a safe place for your family to enjoy the lakefront this summer.

We will let you know when the beach will open once it is known.
