Police and Fire Birthday Salutes

The Kenilworth Police Department and Winnetka Fire Department are teaming up to help make birthdays without in-person parties happy after all!

Birthday salutes will be conducted between 3 and 4 PM, permitting availability (they will not be available if called to an emergency), and will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Salutes will consist of a stop, siren, and flashing lights. No contact will be made, social distancing must be observed, and a birthday salute cannot cause a gathering of more than 10 individuals in one place to occur.

To request a birthday salute, fill out the form found here and a representative from the Fire Department will follow up with you to confirm the salute from Police and Fire.
