The Kenilworth Police Department is operational 24/7 and we are here to help you and keep Kenilworth safe.  Don’t hesitate to call 911 if you need us day or night.  If you have a non-emergency matter, please call our administrative line (847-251-2141) and a dispatcher will request that you provide a phone number for a police officer to call you back on, when they are available.  For your safety and the safety of our first responders, we will be conducting as much business as possible over the phone.  We appreciate your patience and realize how this level of service is far different from what we have provided in the past.  We hope you understand that this change in our response for low priority calls for service is being done to always ensure Kenilworth Police Officers are here for you for emergency calls for service.  With many residents staying at home, we ask that you keep an eye out for your neighbors and if you see something, say something.  With other residents leaving town, we ask that you participate in our House Watch program so officers can keep an extra eye on your house while you are gone.  We also have a Senior Citizen Alert Program where seniors call us each morning to check in so we know they are safe.  To participate in any of these programs, call Monday through Friday 847-251-2141 ext. 3.  Additionally, in order to receive emergency notifications, sign up for Smart911/Rave using the information below.

The Kenilworth Police Department wants to share with residents the opportunity to register for Smart911, which allows you to create a safety profile that will provide important information to first responders in an emergency. Smart911 is a free opt-in service, and you can provide as much or as little information as you would like. When anyone in your household dials 911 from a landline or cell phone connected to your safety profile, all the information is immediately displayed to the emergency dispatcher.  Download the Smart911 App on the Apple Store or Google Play or Click here to register for Smart911 online.
