Kenilworth Union Church, the owner of 417 Warwick Road, has applied to demolish the existing house located at the property. The property contains one existing two-story residence. At the November 15, 2022 Building Review Commission meeting, the BRC determined the building to be of special importance and issued a one year stay on the demolition, during which time, the applicant would work with an architect to determine whether alternatives to demolishing the building exist.
On Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at 7:00 p.m., the BRC will conduct a public meeting to discuss the historical and/or architectural significance of 417 Warwick Road with regard to the proposed demolition of the property.
