About the Program
The Village of Kenilworth works with the Solid Waste Agency of Northern Cook County (SWANCC) regarding recycling outreach and education.

The SWANCC is a unit of local government and a non-profit corporation. SWANCC developed a long-term plan to manage the region's municipal solid waste that was adopted by its Board of Directors in 1991.

Since then, SWANCC has been at work implementing this economically stable and environmentally safe solution to the region's solid waste management needs.
